We recently purchased a Stihl HL 94 pole hedge trimmer from Ace Hardware. Unfortunately, we encountered a problem with the trimmer as it didn't start when we tried to use it for the first time. Despite assuming it would work given it was brand new, we should have tested it before leaving the store. The trimmer cost us over $600, including taxes, and we were unable to complete the job we had scheduled for that day. Upon attempting to make an exchange, we were told by the manager that we would have to wait until next week when their repair person was available. We strongly believe that this should not have been the solution offered for a brand new product. As Ace Hardware did not have any more units in stock, we were forced to purchase another trimmer elsewhere, spending an additional $600 unexpectedly. Keep in mind that we are long-time customers who regularly spend thousands of dollars at Ace Hardware. Unfortunately, we cannot agree with the outcome of this situation. As a result, we and all of our fellow landscapers will no longer be using Ace Hardware for our landscaping needs.

Ace is the place for the helpful hardware folks! If you have been to an Ace Hardware, you know what you're getting. Every thing you need and more on display, accessible and the friendly staff can help with whatever you need. Great place for a few gifts too!

Ace is always slightly more expensive but this store is the definition of friendly and knowledgeable service. Great STIHL rep here too!

The store has gone though great lengths to clean up and organize, and the staff have been more helpful than ever. Great work!
